VISION INSPECTION / CUSTOMER PROJECT

Mixed-part inspection with a machine stop.

Machine vision checks the part in production. If a mixed part is detected, the system stops the machine so the operator can resolve the issue before production continues.

THE PRODUCTION CHALLENGE

A mixed part should never pass unnoticed.

When different parts enter the same production process, an unnoticed mix-up can continue through the machine. The part needs to be checked on the line, before the mix-up goes further.

We installed a vision system that checks for mixed parts and sends the result to the machine controls. A failed check stops the machine so the operator can correct the issue.

How the check works

Check the part

The vision system checks the part against the expected inspection criteria.

Respond at the machine

A mixed-part result triggers a machine stop for operator intervention.

Keep the results visible

The inspection screen shows live results and OK/NG production counts.

Give management a view of production.

The system can connect to a management dashboard, bringing production counts and inspection results into one view. Management can monitor total output, OK and NG counts, and the percentage of inspected parts that pass or fail.

Your team can follow output and spot changes in the inspection results while production is running.
